The Arizona Parenting Alliance values the rich cultural diversity of Arizona citizens and is committed to unity within our diversity. Like other segments of the population, African American's often have unique cultural experiences that contribute to disparate conditions that often go unaddressed. The focus of the outreach into African American communities is a culturally rooted approach for fostering responsible parenting, fatherhood, healthy marriage and improved child well-being. This Initiative is a collaborative effort with African American churches, media and community organizations. |
